Would you watch an Epic Meal Time T.V. show?
I know I would, and the guys at Epicmealtime.com think a lot of other people would too. They have shot a half hour pilot, and with the help of some high level talent reps they recently signed with, are shopping it around to several TV networks.
If you have not experienced an Epic Meal Time yet, do yourself a favor and head over to their site (Billy recommends Four Loco Chili and my personal favorite is Breakfast of Booze). I could definitely see this show doing well on comedy central, and host Harley Morenstein becoming the huge celebrity he deserves to be.
All I know is that my TV could always use some more bacon strips + bacon strips + bacon strips + bacon strips + bacon strips.
Next time on nerdy tits, we eat an ewok.

Movie News: Joseph Gordon Levitt's role in The Dark Knight Rises revealed!
After much speculation it has finally been revealed that the inception actor will be playing Alberto Falconi! Wait, who you might be saying? To which I say get off your bum and go buy the Long Halloween graphic novel, one of the greatest achievements of the Batman comics. Did you read it? Good, right?!
For those of you who are too impatient, The Long Halloween is a Batman story that takes place over the course of a year featuring a holiday themed murder by an unknown serial killer every month. Alberto Falconi is a featured character in the book and is the son of Carmine Falconi, a name you might remember from Batman Begins.
Many of the story lines from The Long Halloween were adapted into the last Batman movie, so it will be interesting to see how much of the story they are going to stay true to. In any case I think that Nolan has earned the full trust of the batfans and now we all await his next master piece.

Movie News: Casting news straight from warner brothers about the Dark Knight Rises.
Warner Brothers announced today that Anne Hathaway has been cast in the dark knight rises as Selina Kyle (catwoman for the uninitiated) and that Tom Hardy will be playing Bane. I think both of these actors are great fits for these characters and this franchise. Now that we have a few answers there are so many more questions! Will we get to see her as catwoman? This is the last batman film for nolan so it would be a real let down if we didnt at least get a peak. Also was the supposed leak about Deadshot and Black Mask just a tease to throw us off. Stay tuned, same nerdy time, same nerdy blog!

Movie News: Screen Tests for Abe lincoln vampire hunter in process.
It was rumored in previous weeks that Eric Bana was in talks to take the lead in the upcoming horror/historical documentary, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, based on the novel of the same name by Seth Grahme-Smith. Now if you haven't read the book, quit reading this tripe immediately and get your arse to the book store. Ok have you read it? Let's continue.
It now looks like Bana is out as several actors are currently screen testing for the role and his name is nowhere to be found among the list of both known and unknown actors. Being considered are Timothy Olyphant, Josh Lucas, and for some brain damaged reason Adrian Brody. Also lesser known actors Ben Walker, James D'Arcy, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.
It looks like they are going for a younger actor, and will hopefully use practical make-up effects to age him (if they use the creepy digital approach, like the opening moments of X3, i'm out), offically slashing my dreams of seeing Liam Neeson take on the role, marrying his Taken badassity and Schindler's List dramatic chops. It would have been the role of his lifetime, and now that Daniel Day-Lewis has scooped the other (and probably lacking gruesome vampire death scenes) major Lincoln role floating around hollywood, it seems like we will never get to see Nesson's incredibly similar facial features put to use as our 15th president.

Actual movie news: Batman Villians Revealed?
So I thought I would try somehting new and give you updates via the written ( or typed as it were) word, a novel concept I know (see what i did there). It seems that a "source" at warner brothers has leaked the deats on the next two rouges to be facing down the dark knight. Black Mask and Deadshot are the supposedly confirmed baddies.
For those of you who haven't heard of these two, your probably not alone. Although they have been a part of the DC mythos for awhile, they have never reached the fame of classic Batman villains like the Joker or even Bane, but that doesn't mean that they wouldn't be interesting to see on the big screen.
Deadshot has a tragic background similar to Bruce Wayne's, but instead of turning to heroism he became a gun for hire, with almost inhuman accuracy. Black Mask is a crime boss, which have been seen frequently in the previous two films, but he brings a gruesome intensity (not to mention face) to the table that would definitely up the ante. I could see the story of him taking over the underground crime scene in Gotham, with most of the crime families swept up by Gotham PD.
It's an interesting development if it turns out to be true. Though truth be told I was hoping for Killer Croc or Hush (or a decent freaking Catwoman! pretty please Mr. Nolan!). Till we see the trailer, I refuse to give up hope, but they could definitely be doing worse things with the franchise (Batnipples).
Wishing you a nerdy new year

Nerdy T.I.T.S. 4 :floating on crazy
Im afraid I have to apologize for our lateness again, but Call of Duty black ops came out this week rendering our editor severely disabled. To make up for it he did deposit a sweet audio treat towards the end of this podcast that i would love to hear your thoughts about. As always, enjoy!
