Movie News: Screen Tests for Abe lincoln vampire hunter in process.

It was rumored in previous weeks that Eric Bana was in talks to take the lead in the upcoming horror/historical documentary, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, based on the novel of the same name by Seth Grahme-Smith. Now if you haven't read the book, quit reading this tripe immediately and get your arse to the book store.  Ok have you read it? Let's continue.
It now looks like Bana is out as several actors are currently screen testing for the role and his name is nowhere to be found among the list of both known and unknown actors.  Being considered are Timothy Olyphant, Josh Lucas, and for some brain damaged reason Adrian Brody.  Also lesser known actors Ben Walker, James D'Arcy, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.
It looks like they are going for a younger actor, and will hopefully use practical make-up effects to age him (if they use the creepy digital approach, like the opening moments of X3, i'm out), offically slashing my dreams of seeing Liam Neeson take on the role, marrying his Taken badassity and Schindler's List dramatic chops. It would have been the role of his lifetime, and now that Daniel Day-Lewis has scooped the other (and probably lacking gruesome vampire death scenes) major Lincoln role floating around hollywood, it seems like we will never get to see Nesson's incredibly similar facial features put to use as our 15th president.
